This past weekend I was in Las Vegas for the He Said She Said photography workshop. You have got to go over to www.jeansmithphotography.com and www.bokastudios.com and check them out. I heard about this husband and wife team through a friend of mine, www.Brittnischroederphotography.com/blog/, who is also an amazing photographer. I wish I could have had another day to just write down every single work they said. Well, needless to say, they rock. These photos are of a desert shoot we did saturday afternoon. It was so fun!
So were these hired models or what? Looks like you are ready for Vogue!!! Awesome Jennie!

ReplyDeleteBite your tongue, Christa! Not all of us were in 9th grade in 1995- some of us were getting married! You made me feel old with that comment =) But at least I DO know that frosted tips are OUT!
DeleteSorry Sarah, it should say out in 9th grade OR 1995!!!!! Which ever comes first~ Just a typo! :)
DeleteThese are awesome. LOVE LOVE them. So you're going to make me and J look like that on the beach, right??? Gotta go get a flowerhead band to wear on my forehead!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Honestly, the lighting... So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is the fourth comment i have attempted! Grrrrrr! I love these shots. You really listened in class! I think you have found what you felt you were missing. These look more modern...maybe if that is the right word. Being able to produce photos like these will set you apart as a professional. Not the girl down the street who takes pictures. These are art.. Keep learning and trying to get better. I am so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone. It was a very eye opening experience. I definatly have some things to learn haha. Yes Christa these are models. The blonde couple are married and the other couple doesn't know eachother.
ReplyDeleteJennie- I am so glad the trip and workshop were worthwhile. These pics are great! I love the lighting and see a big difference- good work! I am eager to hear all about it and always eager to see your next photo shoots. Now let's hope I can prove I am not a robot and this comment actually publishes!
ReplyDeletelooks like a magazine spread. I agree that photos like these will set you apart. fun to see!
